Co-Founder and Group Executive Chairman of Stamford Capital, Domenic brings over 30 years’ experience in property investment and development, with deep knowledge of property finance, from debt through to equity.

Commencing his career in institutional banking with the ANZ Banking Group, Domenic moved to Gresham Partners to work in Property Funds Management, and developed deep funds management expertise in a range of positions.

At Stamford Capital, Domenic provides guidance and input across all aspects of the business and manages key client and lender relationships.

Michael brings over 25 years’ experience in property finance, investment, development and syndication.

He started his career at Savills Commercial Property Agency and then moved into property finance, initially in finance origination and then later heading up principal investments.

Co-Founder and Executive Director, Michael focuses on origination for Stamford Capital Investments and provides guidance and leadership across both divisions.

With over 20 years' of experience in commercial real estate finance, David has established a formidable reputation as an expert in the field.

As Principal and Director at Stamford, David has successfully arranged and advised on CRE funding exceeding $4 billion, supporting major commercial real estate transactions for both development and investment purposes.

David’s expertise encompasses managing complex properties and projects having successfully transacted on loan ticket sizes up to $550 million, showcasing a market leading depth of knowledge and a commitment to achieving independent financial solutions for his clients.

As Stamford Capital’s Managing Director, Peter oversees the day-to-day operation of both divisions managing everything from the vision, innovation, culture and strategic direction as well as key stakeholder and investor relations.

Peter has previously worked at Chartered Accounting firms including KPMG, and was working with Stamford Capital as an external accountant before his decision to move in-house.

With over 12 years’ experience in corporate chartered accounting, Peter brings a wealth of financial expertise to Stamford Capital.

An expert in client relationship management and strategic planning, Peter brings over 40 years' experience in the financial service industry to his Board Advisory role at Stamford Capital. Highly trusted by clients and colleagues, Peter is dedicated to tailoring solutions that meet clients’ funding needs on time and with no surprises.

Peter’s approach centres around doing the right thing by clients, peers and organisations. His experience and the strong relationships he has built over a long career give him the insights to provide Stamford Capital guidance around strategic direction, operations and activities.

With 12 years’ experience in corporate accounting and finance both in Australia and Europe, Matthew brings invaluable skills across finance, corporate development, and strategy.

Prior to joining Stamford Capital as our Chief Financial Officer, Matthew spent eight years in Sweden working for the likes of EY, Maersk Line and Swegon Group.

In his role as CFO, he oversees Stamford Capital’s financial operations, strategic financial planning and compliances.

Jeremy has 16 years’ experience in commercial banking and property finance. During his career, he has completed new lending and investment opportunities in excess of $1.5 billion across the residential, retail, commercial and industrial sectors – and has previously worked for AMAL Asset Management and Rabobank Australia, among others.

Jeremy’s primary responsibility is to manage the deal flow through the pipeline as well as managing all of the credit team across the country.

AJ, with a background spanning two decades in banking and financial markets, brings a wealth of leadership experience across client acquisition, origination, distribution, and strategy. At Stamford Capital, his cross-functional leadership role is responsible for enhancing our Group sales capability by identifying and implementing strategies that propel our people and business forward.

Daniel has over 20 years’ experience across property finance, funds management and commercial banking.

He brings his depth of knowledge in property markets, risk management, portfolio management and property lending from seven years as Associate Director of the Institutional Property portfolio at ANZ. He also has significant funds management experience managing mezzanine, preferred equity and equity debt from his time across various businesses.

At Stamford Capital Investments, Daniel is responsible for structuring and executing new investment opportunities and managing SCIM’s existing assets.

As Operations Manager at Stamford, Amanda is key to ensuring smooth business operations, with a focus on people and culture, as well as special projects. She manages staff onboarding and helps drive initiatives that foster a positive and productive workplace. Amanda also supports marketing communications efforts, coordinates key projects, and provides crucial assistance to the executive team.

Acting as the primary liaison with stakeholders, she strengthens relationships and reinforces Stamford’s operational and strategic objectives.

Curious and always keen to grow personally and professionally, Devina’s proactive attitude is a real asset to the team. She’s a dependable team player and creative problem solver, with keen analytical and organisational skills.

Devina always strives to be at her best and she’s a quick learner. As Investment accountant, she helps get our people and suppliers paid on time, keeps our accounts moving and provides critical support to the finance team.

Bill has gone from strength to strength in his time with Stamford Capital, and is now Executive Director. In this role he is responsible for business development and client liaison, as well managing a team. Bill has a proven track record of building longstanding relationships.

He is a driven team member with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities – core traits which underpin our commercial finance and funds management services.

Peter has over 25 years’ experience in the legal fraternity, property and finance. Having worked in all facets of property matters, he has contributed to the success of many property developers and real estate buyers in the last three decades.

Peter has held several positions across property finance with Australian and American businesses and dealt with many types of property transactions – and he has developed extensive relationships with individuals and companies that are central to the local real estate market.

Previously working in residential property sales and broking, Daniel has a deep understanding of what it takes to achieve client satisfaction. He brings this client-centric approach to his work, putting the needs of the client at the heart of every transaction.

Daniel has a passion for investment management and property finance. With experience in digital marketing, he is a strong communicator and relationship manager – skills that are instrumental to his role as Associate Director.

As a Senior Associate in our Sydney team, Harley is responsible for representing the needs of Stamford Capital’s clients and analysing key information needed for deal assessments. In this role, he balances helping to grow the business’s pipeline with key analytical work such as conducting transaction term analyses and due diligence and creating information memorandums and financial models.

Harley has recently finished studying a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from the University of Wollongong. He is a driven team player with strong problem-solving skills.

Remi Hill is a Senior Associate based in our Sydney team. With a career history working as a lawyer and in financial services consulting for a Big 4, Remi's extensive experience in managing large projects and teams, coupled with exceptional attention to detail and strong people skills makes her a formidable asset in her role.

Holding a double degree in law and international relations, Remi brings immense value to our Sydney team with in-depth analytical skills she is able to provide strategic support for our clients.

As a Senior Associate in our Sydney team, Peter represents Stamford Capital's clients while analysing key information for deal assessments. He balances growing the business's pipeline with conducting transaction analyses, due diligence, and creating financial models to ensure the client's needs are met.

Drawing on his experience in private wealth management, commercial finance and sales, Peter excels in understanding clients’ commercial property finance requirements and seamlessly connecting them to tailored solutions. With his exceptional sales acumen and strong negotiation skills, he constantly delivers results even in high-pressure environments.

As an Investment Director, Victor supports the Stamford Capital Investment Management team to structure and execute new opportunities, and is responsible for credit analysis, due diligence, and financial modelling.

Prior to becoming Investment Director, Victor was working as an Analyst supporting the sales team. Victor also holds a bachelor of Actuarial Studies (Finance) from the University of New South Wales.

Ilze brings global expertise in commercial property credit risk analysis to the team. Having worked for over 10 years in financial services, including six with Barclays Bank in London, she is known for her skills in structured property debt finance and cash flow modelling.

With extensive expertise in the origination, structuring and execution of senior debt and mezzanine finance across diverse real estate investment and development transactions, Ilze ensures capital procurement is seamless for our clients – from preparing credit submissions and modelling transactions to working with their legal advisers and consultants through to settlement.

Barbara is the Lead Analyst at Stamford Capital’s Sydney office, where she leads the analyst team in providing critical support to the sales team. Her proactive, high-energy approach ensures that Stamford delivers comprehensive and timely credit feasibility models and information memorandums, enabling the best finance solutions for our clients.

Previously, Barbara has worked as an Analyst at CBA in in their commercial banking team, and at Deloitte in their Restructuring Services, Financial Advisory. Barbara is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.

A reliable team player, Stanley brings to the Sydney office a hands-on approach and a good sense of humour. His experience working for a non-bank lender as well as for one of the big four, gives him strong analytical skills and an understanding of the lender market.

Currently studying a degree in finance and data science at the University of Sydney, Stanley is a dependable asset in our analyst team, supporting the sales team to deliver the best finance solutions for our clients. Outside of the office, Stanley is passionate about coding, boxing and fishing – interests that no doubt help him roll with the punches.

As a Senior Analyst at Stamford Capital, Aidan leverages his double degree in Commerce (Finance) and Information Systems from UNSW to provide comprehensive financial insights and data-driven analysis. With four years of experience in the financial services industry, Aidan is dedicated to supporting Stamford Capital’s client projects and strategic goals with precision and expertise.

Outside the office, Aidan keeps active through running and playing tennis, bringing a disciplined and energetic approach to both his professional and personal pursuits.

Oscar Maxwell is an Analyst in Stamford Capital’s Sydney office supporting the sales team to achieve success for our clients. He began his journey with Stamford Capital in 2022 as an intern helping to deliver Stamford’s key strategic objectives.

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business (Property) at Western Sydney University. Oscar brings to Stamford his strong work ethic and commitment to learning and growing alongside his infectious team spirit.
