Domenic is the founder of Stamford Capital. With over 20 years’ experience in property investment and development, he has exceptional knowledge of property finance, from debt through to equity.
Commencing his career in institutional banking with the ANZ Banking Group, Domenic moved to Gresham Partners to work in Property Funds Management, and developed deep funds management expertise in a range of positions.
At Stamford Capital, Domenic focuses on managing key client and capital relationships as well as the strategic direction of the group.
Michael has over 20 years’ experience in property finance, investment, development and syndication.
He started his career at Savills Commercial Property Agency and then moved into property finance, initially in finance origination and then later heading up principal investments.
He executes advisory mandates and uses his knowledge of debt and equity investments to enhance returns for Stamford’s clients and investors.
David's expertise spans 17 years in commercial banking, funds management, property finance and investment, including structured property finance solutions.
He previously managed structured property investment funds, and with CBA in risk management and institutional banking. He understands how to manage a client’s real estate capital needs from initial procurement through to ongoing management of capital paced, and is well known for finding solutions to complex transaction issues.
David uses his expert knowledge of Australia’s real estate capital markets to source opportunities and manage our key stakeholder relationships.
Marcus has more than 25 years' experience managing and driving the development of small, medium and large businesses both in Australia and internationally. His experience includes senior roles in funds management, commercial finance and broking, investment banking, capital markets and chartered accounting.
Marcus was most recently a senior executive at Challenger Limited and previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Ashe Morgan and Head of Structured Finance at UBS.
At Stamford Capital, Marcus sits on the board with a hands-on role in strategic projects.
An expert in client relationship management and strategic planning, Peter brings over 40 years of experience in the financial service industry to his Board Advisory role at Stamford Capital. Highly trusted by clients and colleagues, Peter is dedicated to tailoring solutions that meet clients’ funding needs on time and with no surprises.
Peter’s approach centres around doing the right thing by clients, peers and organisations. His experience and the strong relationships he has built over a long career give him the insights to provide Stamford Capital guidance around strategic direction, operations and activities.
Jeremy has 16 years’ experience in commercial banking and property finance. During his career, he has completed new lending and investment opportunities in excess of $1.5billion across the residential, retail, commercial and industrial sectors – and has previously worked for AMAL Asset Management and Rabobank Australia, among others.
Jeremy’s primary responsibility is to manage the deal flow through the pipeline as well as managing all of the credit team across the country.
Bill has gone from strength to strength in his time with Stamford Capital, and is now Director. In this role he is responsible for business development and client liaison, as well as credit analysis and financial modelling. Bill has a proven record of building longstanding relationships.
He is a driven team member with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities – core traits which underpin our commercial finance and funds management services.
Peter has over 25 years’ experience in the legal fraternity, property and finance. Having worked in all facets of property matters, he has contributed to the success of many property developers and real estate buyers in the last three decades.
Peter has held several positions across property finance with Australian and American businesses and dealt with many types of property transactions – and he has developed extensive relationships with individuals and companies that are central to the local real estate market.
Chris is the Senior Advisor in our Queensland team. He has over 30 years’ experience working across commercial, corporate and property lending sectors with both major and regional banking groups.
Over this time, he has built strong networks across the business community and a solid understanding of the property market in the state. His past responsibilities have included leadership of large national teams of property and commercial lending specialists, business strategy and risk management.
Barn has over 20 years’ experience in investment banking, having previously worked as an analyst with Credit Suisse in London, and on the fixed income desks of Morgan Stanley and Bank of America (Merrill Lynch) in Sydney.
He is responsible for building our Victorian deal origination business execution transactions and bringing new capital funding opportunities to developers and investor clients.
Adam is leading our growth and expansion into the South Australian market and beyond. He has over 20 years’ experience working across valuation, asset management and banking.
His expertise in property finance includes over 11 years working in senior account management at both BankSA (a division of Westpac) and NAB. He has extensive experience in the origination and management of a range of investment and development transactions, and has a fierce commitment to delivering successful outcomes for our clients.
Grant has a genuine passion for deal origination and building relationships with developers and investors to help them bring projects to life.
Having worked for nearly a decade in relationship and stakeholder management in the property finance industry, Grant is known as an amiable, knowledgeable character who is determined to find ways to add value for our clients.
With extensive experience in origination, financial modelling, credit analysis and transactions, Grant brings our clients detailed and up-to-date market advice they can trust.

Having facilitated over $400 million worth of property development in his career, Alex brings extensive knowledge of residential development, markets and risk assessment. But he also believes in putting the client before the deal, and is a skilled relationship manager – ready to work with you on the areas that matter most.
As an associate with our Queensland team, Alex sources capital solutions and creates commercial property development finance deals. With experience in the development advisory and investment selling space, he understands the challenges of achieving pre-sale hurdles, and strategies to de-risk developments. His level-headed and solution-driven approach to deal origination ensures the best experience for clients looking to grow their portfolio.
Motivated and passionate about getting great results for clients, Billy has a strong background in commercial real estate and residential investment. His strong work ethic and desire to be his best for himself and his clients is a real asset to the team.
As an associate, Billy originates finance deals and scouts the market to find the best solutions – saving clients crucial time and money. While his strong sales and relationship development skills allow him to drive business volumes by engaging and building relationships with referral and capital partners.
With over 11 years’ experience in corporate chartered accounting, Peter brings a wealth of financial expertise to Stamford Capital.
Peter has previously worked at Chartered Accounting firms including KMPG, and was working with Stamford Capital as an external accountant before his decision to move in-house.
As Stamford Capital’s Chief Operating Officer, he is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operation of the business and will be taking care of everything from our finances and regulatory compliance, to our valued investors and stakeholders.
Julia is a qualified Chartered Accountant and spent nearly 10 years in public practice before joining the team at Stamford. She is an active listener, and excellent at providing solutions to problems. Julia is a team player, she’s trustworthy and will go above and beyond to help people, which earns her a great deal of respect.
Curious and always keen to grow personally and professionally, Devina’s proactive attitude is a real asset to the team. She’s a dependable team player and creative problem solver, with keen analytical and organisational skills.

As office and marketing manager, Amanda is an outstanding member of the Stamford Capital team. Her meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask the dual aspects of office management and marketing is exceptional.
She is responsible for all of Stamford’s marketing and comms activities, including our annual debt capital market report. In addition, she coordinates our office needs, providing team support and keeping our stakeholders and clients up to date with our latest activities.
As Senior Analyst, Ilze works with Stamford Capital’s investor and developer clients to ensure their capital is secured on the best possible terms. From credit analysis and cash flow modelling to engaging with bank and non-bank lenders, legal advisers and other consultants, she is responsible for the deal from origination to settlement.
Ilze brings global expertise in commercial property credit risk analysis to Stamford Capital. She has worked for over 10 years in financial services, including five with Barclays Bank in London.
As Analyst at Stamford Capital, Victor provides exceptional support to the sales team.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) at UNSW, he has proven to be a diligent researcher, with excellent analytical skills. Whether he’s analysing LVR, interest rates and ICR, working on credit feasibility modelling or preparing information memorandums, he’s a great team player and builds excellent rapport within the team and our clients.
Tenacious with great attention to detail, Raymond brings passion for infrastructure and real estate to his Junior Analyst role at Stamford Capital.
Raymond supports the sales team by providing transaction term analysis, conducting due diligence on tenants, and preparing credit information memorandums and financial modelling. He is a team player and a self-starter with strong qualitative skills, which make him a valuable asset to his team.
