Best of NSW crowned at sold-out event
More than 20 mortgage professionals across New South Wales received top honours at The Adviser’s Better Business Awards last night. Over 500 people gathered at Sydney’s Sofitel ballroom to recognise the award winners across a range of categories. Raymond Xue of ACA Mortgage Solution took out the most coveted gong of the night, Broker of the Year. Mr Xue also scooped up the Best Residential Broker title.
Domenic Lo Surdo of Stamford Capital Australia was crowned Best Commercial Broker, while Justin Doobov of Intelligent Finance took home the award of Best Finance Broker, and Ian Simpson of Smartline Mudgee was named Best Regional Broker.
Raymond Li of Alliance Mortgage Solutions picked up the Best Newcomer award, while the Rising Star title was presented to Brad Sewell of Robinson Sewell Partners.
The Editor’s Choice award went to Peita Davies of Choice Home Loans Blue Mountains.
In recognition of outstanding team work, Shore Financial was named Best Independent Office (more than five brokers), while Macquarie Commercial Finance won the top gong for Best Independent Office (five or less brokers).
Mortgage Choice Newtown was crowned Best Branded Office. The group also picked up the award for Best Community Engagement Program.
Concept Finance Group received the award for Best New Office and Aussie Port Macquarie was named Best Regional Office.
For the continued commitment to broker support, Home Loan Experts picked up the award for Best Customer Service for its office, and Ian Robinson of Robinson Sewell Partners won the award for Best Customer Service for an individual.
Patrick Clarkson of FAST was awarded Best Aggregator BDM, while Donovan Blanch of ANZ was crowned Best Lender BDM (bank), and Christian Malouf of Advantedge (formerly Pepper) was given the title of Best Lender BDM (non-bank).
Last but not least, Best Loan Administrator went to Renee Menzies of South Coast Business & Financial Solutions.
